What Lovi Poe's mom wishes for her daughter

So who is Lovi Poe dating nowadays?

Don't ask her mother. According to Rowena Moran, Lovi Poe’s mom, she's "the last person to know" when press people quizzed her about Lovi’s ex-boyfriends Jake Cuenca and Ronald Singson.

Lovi meanwhile denied keeping things from her mom, especially where her love life is concerned.

“Akala lang niya 'yon,” Lovi notes. “Mom knows a lot of things. Wala lang talaga ngayon (referring to her love life)."

Rowena knows about her break-up with Ronald and the others that happened in-between, insists Lovi.

It’s just that Rowena would rather fix her daughter’s hair backstage than quiz Lovi about her personal life.

A lot of trust

“I trust my daughter a lot,” the doting mom explains. “She can handle everything.  At 24, she already knows what’s right and wrong,” she added during the launch of “Love Affair,” the newest addition to the Bench Celebrity Scents Collection on Sunday, June 16.

Ruffa Gutierrez to study in London

Ruffa Gutierrez received an early gift for her 39th birthday on Monday, June 24. She will go back to school, and at the prestigious King’s College London Summer School at that.

In a text message to Yahoo! Philippines OMG!, the actress-beauty queen said: “Dearest Family and Friends,  I’m delighted to share the good news that I’m making  London my classroom this summer!"

"My application to the King’s College London Summer School has been successful. I will be studying International Political Economy under Business  & Management. If I  can fix my schedule  properly, I will add another course, “The Art of Leadership,” as well. I will have this amazing opportunity to study at the fourth oldest university in England with a global reputation for academic excellence,” she continued.

She asked family and friends to wish her luck "as I take this leap of faith to broaden my horizons and improve myself as an individual.”

Agot Isidro, adventurous at 47

Whether it’s mountain climbing, river trekking or white water rafting, 46-year-old singer-actress Agot Isidro defies the limits of middle age. “They say (it’s when you’re at) 20’s that you do party-party, 30’s when you’re earning a lot of money and start making a niche, and 40’s is when you say, let life begin. Whatever you want to achieve, supposedly you’ve achieved in your 30’s,” Agot told Yahoo! Philippines OMG! Last February, she conquered the Philippines’ highest peak, Davao’s Mt. Apo, with her climbing buddy, Dr. Gideon Lasco, whom she met through his blog pinoymountaineer.com. “I was supposed to go to a trekking trip to Nepal last April, pero I was gonna do it alone. So up to the last minute, I was like, ‘Sige I’ll do it,’” she recounted her cancelled adventure trip to the Himalayas. “Then I went to Bali for four days. Nalungkot ako. So sabi ko, ‘Four days pa lang ‘to nalulungkot na ko, what more kung 17 days? It’s a 17-day trip. I’ll postpone it.’ Maybe in 2, 3 days kung ok na si Gid (her climbing buddy) o kung sinong gusto sumama, then I’ll go,” she continued. Accompanied by other climbing enthusiasts, Agot has reached the peak of Mt. Maculot and Pico de Loro in Batangas.
