Psy Ready For Ai Ai?

MANILA, Philippines - Tomorrow, Feb. 16, Korean pop star Psy behind the global hit “Gangnam Style” will share the stage with Pinoy box-office comedy actress Ai Ai delas Alas at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in a concert dubbed “Ang Tanging Family Valentine Concert.”
What to expect? Well, as one joke goes---you can never can tell!
“Feeling ko si Madonna ako!” Ai Ai crowed at the press conference for the concert a couple of days ago, referring to his guest performance in one of the Queen of Pop’s concerts abroad.
“Ang gagawin ko dun sa concert---and sasabihin ko sa kaniya (Psy)---‘Puwede pa-picture?’ Eepal ako dun!”
Ai Ai said that she “Googled” up Psy “gaya ng pag-Google niya sa akin.” Apart from learning that the music video of “Gangnam Style” has already garnered more than a billion hits on YouTube, the comedienne found out “na may anak siya at may asawa.”
And what else?
“Mahigpit sila sa pagkuha ng makakasama niya kasi ganun kapag international icon. Maraming mga chenelyn, maraming mga anik-anik,” she said so eloquently in gay speak.
Asked if she had to take a crash course in Korean language so she and Psy could at least make small talk when they meet, Ai Ai just laughed then joked that perhaps it’s better that they have a language barrier so she could tell him that he is her front act.

Ai Ai is through with marriage

Ai Ai delas Alas has changed her mind about getting married.  After last year’s declaration that she’s not closing her doors on marriage,  and even if her children are allowing her to tie the knot,  Ai Ai would rather stay single than go through the trauma of marriage annulment all over again.

“Ayaw ko na magpakasal.  Kahit 2002 pa annulled ang  marriage ko (to singer Miguel Vera), ayaw ko ng pagdaanan ulit ito,”  she told a handful of writers after the prescon for her guest performance at Korean superstar Psy’s  concert at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on Saturday, Feb. 16, 8 p.m.

What’s important is that her relationship with Jed Silang is going strong, despite their big age gap  between them (he’s  20 years her junior).
