There have been times when she has to trip the fine line between merely defending herself and appearing “guilty” to others in doing so.
“Mahirap po kasi na kaming mga artista… Wala ho kaming ibang ginawa kundi bigyan kayo ng entertainment... ‘Yung ibang tao naman walang ibang ginawa kundi mangalkal nang mangalkal ng baho ng mga iba’t-ibang mga tao para siraan sila, para pabagsakin ‘yung career nila, ‘yung pinaghihirapan nila,” she told “Bandila” on Tuesday night.
Noting that loved ones of any celebrity are also affected by such malicious intrigues, Angelica added, “Nakakalungkot din kasi ‘yung mga tao ‘pag may nabasang gano’n hindi naman na sila mag-iisip na ‘Totoo ba ‘to? Hindi ba ‘to totoo?’
“‘Yung mga tao kasi ‘pag nabasa na nila, ‘Ay gan’to pala siya, ay gan’to pala ‘yung ugali niya,’ so parang ikaw, ay gano’n nalang ‘yon, isang buklatan na lang.”
These statements are grounded on Angelica’s Feb. 21 Instagram post showing the 10 Commandments. In the caption, she particularly cited the ninth commandment – “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.”
“#9 huwag manirang puri sa kapwa tao... Huwag mag sinungaling... --- tamaan na ang guilty... Malungkot isipin na kabuhayan nila ang manira ng kapwa. Mas maayos sana ang takbo ng buhay if we live in peace.. Si Lord na ang bahala sa inyo. Stop hating us just because were happy. I sincerely pray that who ever is guilty may find his happiness.. :) and may he realize that making up Stories is not a profession.. God bless you. :).” read the caption.
Although she did not name the subject of this post, Angelica, in a recent press conference, mentioned having a basher on Instagram who kept insisting that her boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz is in love with another girl. In the same media huddle, she reiterated how confident and happy she is with their relationship.
