The teen diva is the first "AI" contestant from the show's last season to have reached the cyber milestone with 1,000,735 followers as of Feb 20.
She is now way ahead of season 11 winner Phillip Phillips, who , as
of this writing, still only has 584,607 followers.
Sanchez made the "video chat conference" promise some weeks ago, seemingly with the intent of egging followers to help her achieve the goal.
The past week, Sanchez trended in the Philippines and worldwide as her fans started the campaign with the hashtags "#JayTo1Million" and "#FollowJessicaSanchez."
Obviously grateful for the support, Sanchez recently tweeted followers of her eagerness to follow up on her pledge.
"1 Million Followers??? :D Guess what that means?" she teased.
Minutes later she followed this up with, "Ustream will be happening this weekend :) Sunday to be exact :)"
